OUR CAMPUS

Watch our campus tour!

Nowhere other than Wy’East Mountain Academy can you ski, snowboard, mountain bike, and skateboard twelve months a year.

Our campus, located at the base of Mt. Hood, in Oregon, is truly one of a kind.

Birthed from renowned action sports camps Windells and High Cascade Snowboard Camp, our 28-acre campus is a world-class space that provides endless entertainment and training opportunities for those new to action sports and for Olympic national teams from around the globe. Our campus is vibrant year-round with not just our student body and staff, but with visiting athletes, industry professionals, and outdoor enthusiasts attending myriad on-campus camps and events.

With year-round, lift-serviced snow at Timberline Ski Area just thirty minutes from campus, our students can spend more time on snow at Mount Hood than is possible at any other single location in the world. Accross the street: Oregon’s most popluar mountain bike trail system, Sandy Ridge, featuring its 15-miles of trails. Skateboarder? We’ve got you covered (literally) with over 12,000 square feet of indoor skatepark, complimented by a new trampoline center, launch ramp into airbag, boutique fitness center, and rock climbing wall. We have another 60,000 square feet of outdoor skatepark. Rain, shine, or snow, our students do what they love on our campus any day and in any weather.

Parents may rest easy knowing that Wy’East students are supervised in a tobacco- and alcohol-free environment around the clock by friendly, helpful, and trained staff members. Our campus has restricted access and students are not permitted to leave campus boundaries unless under staff SuperVision™.

We hold all who step foot on our campus accountable to the Big Six™: No theft or vandalism; no tobacco use; no weapons, violence, or abusive language; campus curfew is strictly enforced; no leaving campus boundaries without permission and SuperVision™; and no drugs or alcohol.

MOUNTAIN BIKE AIR BAG

For our students looking to learn or progress in jumping, our new 45-foot bike airbag offers a perfect low consequence opportunity for building confidence and air-awareness. Under the watchful eyes of our professional coaching staff you’ll gain the confidence and skills before taking it to our mirrored takeoff mulch jump.

MULCH JUMP

For students who are ready for the big stuff, we’ve got features to enable you to progress as quickly and safely as possible. Work with your coach to practice larger airs, inverts, and spins into our 45-foot airbag. Once you’re comfortable and your coach gives you the green light, take it to the mulch jump, which has the same run-in and ramp geometry, but features a matched landing with a cushy layer of mulch.
