Academy students have full access to everything that makes Windells’ campus world renowned.

BOB (Building Out Back)

Windells is home to the biggest indoor skate park in the Northwest, 12,500 ft of creative space for skateboarding in any weather. Two Olympic style trampolines and a 20×20 ft foam pit are perfect for practicing new aerial maneuvers before bringing them to snow.

The Concrete Jungle

Windells Academy students have unlimited access to best skate terrain in Oregon. The Concrete Jungle is the 60,500 square feet of the most innovative landscape in the Northwest.

Forest Park

The dirt BMX course features a massive pump track, technical woods, rocks, skinnies, ladders, log drops and more.

The Lab (Super Tramp/Mega Ramp)

Windells is home to a brand new MaxAir Super Quad 14’ x 14’ trampoline. The MaxAir Super Quad features a smooth, powerful bounce with plenty of room to focus on mechanics and development of new tricks, from basic rotations all the way to the most advanced.  Students, guest athletes, and professionals will have endless options to progress, practice, and train with this cutting-edge set up. Positioned strategically next to Windells’ private 60’x 60’ BagJump™ with walls varying in height from four to eight feet, the MaxAir Super Quad will help grow air awareness for students looking to develop larger and off-axis rotations.

In addition to the new super trampoline on campus, Windells Academy has also resurfaced the launch ramps on campus with Skatelite™, allowing everyone the ability to “send it,” into the bag. The addition of Skatelite™ allows skiers, snowboarders, skateboarders, and BMX riders to learn and development new skills safely on campus, before confidently taking the skills on-hill, to the Concrete Jungle™, or the Dirt Track™.

Food and Lodging

Healthy meals are prepared and served in the dining hall on campus. The Academy culinary staff cater to vegetarian, vegan, or other dietary preferences or restrictions. Made to order breakfast and a buffet-style dinner are prepared each day, and students pack their own hearty lunch with provided ingredients before departing for the day.  Our head chef welcomes favorite recipes to be sent to him so that he can share a “taste of home” while students are away from their families during the school year, feel free to send them his way!  Cabins are separated by gender and are fully furnished with queen beds, wood floors and TVs.

Health and Fitness

Off campus, all students have access to Mt. Hood Athletic Club, a full recreation center located in Sandy, Oregon.  We are currently in the planning stages of creating a recreation room which will include laundry on site and some weights and training equipment. http://www.mthoodac.com
