Academy students have full access to everything that makes Windells’ campus world renowned.
BOB (Building Out Back)
Windells is home to the biggest indoor skate park in the Northwest, 12,500ft of creative space for skateboarding in any weather. Two Olympic style trampolines and a 9x9ft foam pit are perfect for practicing new aerial maneuvers before bringing them to snow.
The Concrete Jungle
Windells Academy students have unlimited access to best skate terrain in Oregon. The Concrete Jungle is the 60,500 square feet of the most innovative landscape in the Northwest.
The dirt BMX course features a massive pump track, technical woods, rocks, skinnies, ladders, log drops and more.
Windells is home to the first “green” dry slope made entirely of environmentally friendly resources; fallen trees, recycled steel from the Port of Portland, and mSnow. mSnow is an injection-molded 100% recyclable product that allows students to practice off hill.
Food and Lodging
Healthy meals are prepared and served in the dining hall on campus. The Academy culinary staff cater to vegetarian, vegan, or other dietary preferences or restrictions. A buffet-style beakfast is prepared every morning, and campers pack a hearty lunch before departing for the day. Cabins are fully furnished and renovated – carpet, beds, wood floors and TVs. Academy sponsors supply all the comfort and amenities students want after a full day of learning. Housing is separated by gender.
Health and Fitness
A weight room on campus allows students to begin or continue a healthy fitness routine. Off campus, students have access to Mt. Hood Athletic Club, a full recreation center located in Sandy, Oregon.
