Windells Academy snowboard students took off last week and headed for California. The students have been competing in each stop at this years Revolution Tour. Dates have included Mount Snow VT, Copper CO, and Boreal CA. Students competed in both Boarder Cross and Halfpipe this past week at Boreal. The last stop of the tour is scheduled to be right here in Oregon, at Mt. Hood Meadows on March 16-18th. If you live in the area, this is for sure an event you want to check out.

Each Season, Transworld Snow releases a Camp Guide Issue and this year it just so happens that the Cover Shot of the April Issue was taken at Windells Camp this past summer.  That is 28 Cover Shots….claim.  Rider Eiki Helgason GTS on Windells KAB Mini Wallride! Pictures from Windells Park show up all throughout the issue as well; pick up a copy at your local shred shop today and read why Windells is the spot to be this summer.

Line Sent us some stills from their adventures too!  Windells Line Traveling Circus Session is in the works as well so keep your ears open for that announcement…..Plus I spoke with Will Wesson a few days ago and he will be at Windells the entire Summer!

A few weeks ago Al Partanen and Bryce Kanights swung through Windells Camp to shoot for an ad to be featured in the April Addition of Thrasher Magazine.  A Shot from Windells New QP is located about 6 pages deep.  Check it out.

Al was one of the first skaters to ride Windells New Park and it was not even completed yet.  It is still not finished but our Crew is pouring cement 5 days a week!  When this new section is completed, Windells will have approximately  55,000 Square Feet of Skatepark.  Below are a Few Shots……..

Windells Academy student, Mike Mochan, turned 19 on wednesday Feburary 24th. We threw him a suprise party involving a delicious chocolate cake, and a night of FUN in B.O.B.

That’s right, if you want to have an amazing summer, improve your video skills, and live and work at the “funnest” place on earth, then this is for you. If your looking to use this internship to fulfill some college requirements we can work with you to make this happen. Camp runs from June 6th until August 11th and the longer you can be here the better. Here’s what you need to do to apply:

First off put together and submit some kind of demo reel or a collection of videos that showcases your skills. Secondly, submit a resume. Please be sure to include work history, education, camera equipment, age, contact info, etc… Thirdly, and now isn’t the time to be shy, find a camera and make a video telling us a little about yourself, and why you deserve the position. Don’t worry, we’ll be the only ones watching it.

Thats about it, feel free to include anything else that may help. So lets recap what needs to be sent in:
1) Demo Reel / Showcase of your work
2) Resume
3) Interview Video

Windells Academy students Mike Mochan, Nick Goepper  and summer college student Eric Hughes were competitors in this years Aspen Open at Buttermilk. Held on the same slope style course as this years Winter X games, it was quite the crowd pleaser. Windells Academy student Nick placed in qualifiers, and made it into finals. Windells College Academy student, Eric Hughes placed 3rd overall in slope style at Aspen Open.

Windells Weekends only have a few more public weekends left.  Do not miss your chance to skate or bike Windells “normally” private skate & bike park.  After Spring BrEak Camps start up on March 20 - Open Windells Weekends will be closed until next FALL!   Plus - come check out our new trampoline super springs and fly-bed!

Windells Academy student, Jamieson Skinner, filmed and created this awesome edit from our trip to Colorado, including Copper Rev tour.
